Has anyone else been to "ULTIMATE GUITAR TABS" lately ? I went seeking some clues for a song I was working on. While I was there I went and checked for tabs for a Mark Knopfler song from his new LP. (Not so new now) What I found was the entire LP, in order, tabbed out wonderfully with chord diagrams and the ability to scroll if you use it live. Rough guess, my finding is 85/90% accuracy in naming chords. I have found many other lp's done the same way. I have a pretty great ear but as I age I find myself using tabs a little more. The scrolling aspect of this tab is why I included this post in Performers Corner. It works well.

I've been picking through them as well. Easy to search and most of the stuff is close enough to act as a guide. I like to print them as PDFs to display on my monitor.

I agree - Ultimate Guitar tabs are MUCH better accuracy than internet tabs used to be. I recently learned that in Ultimate Guitar you can actually transpose the tab (!!!!!) before printing it - so awesome. I am the make-the-chart-guy for our band and we often change key depending on who sings (if it still sounds good).

they have learned to monetize it so there are funds to do it right and make the site very user friendly. If you are a paid subscriber you can put the app on your phone or tablet and get full access plus all the Pro stuff.
big difference from the old site.

FWIW, if you have OnSong on an iPad or iPhone, you can import the tab directly into it and retain the ability to transpose to other keys. ‘Tis very nice to be able to change keys indefinitely.

+1 on OnSong. Add sticky notes, change keys and if you tap the chord you will get a chord diagram with more than 1 tablet running it you can synch them all and call up a song to appear on all tablets regardless if it resides locally or not

Checked Ultimate Guitar...night now $20 a year. Well worth it already. Working on John Denver's Fly Away tab which seems very accurate and has a great speed control. Recommend this.
