As a public service, I'm letting you know that I have trouble reading the 8-point fonts so I'm using 12-point instead. My use of the larger font is in no way intended to promote my threads or posts over any of your threads or posts or to draw attention to myself (as far as my conscious mind knows).
My eyes thank me, and you.

Not the first one to note this. I believe I have some code that will increase our default font size. But it doesn’t look like the tool I need to use can be used from my phone. So, it’ll have to wait until I get to a desktop.

I don't know about Mac's, but on a windows machine, you can hold the control button, and tap the + or - sign to increase, and decrease your webpages.
Try it. It makes everything bigger, not just the text, so if a photo appears too big, you can go the other way.
Very handy.

Mike if it is possible I'd like a larger default font size. I hate wearing reading glasses.

I have the code, just need to get to a desktop to implement it. Possibly tonight.

I figured out the titles, but the code I found to increase the font size did not work. Still working on it.

I bumped it from 10 point to 14 point. What do we think?

I had to reduce the size of everything but to me, who wears 1.25 readers for computer use, thinks it's just about perfect now. I can finally see the Strat banner properly.
I was running this site on my Mac at 120-150%. I can now see it how I would consider it properly at 80%. I wouldn't change a thing.

Are the thread titles still coming out small on your end?

They were huge and I had to reduce them using the display capabilities of my computer. I'd leave things alone for a day and see what other people say. Remember, you can, at least on a computer, make forum text bigger or smaller. Right now, IMO, you're in balance. Also llooks fine on my phone.

OK great. If anyone else has comments on the size of the font, please let me know. Otherwise will leave it as is.

Why are the font size different between the thread titles and the threads, or is it just my machine?
o me the forum has just gotten unusable

All of them are set separately, unfortunately. But I can keep tweaking until we get it to a spot where everyone’s happy with it. Or at least as many people as possible. On my end, I’m not seeing any issues.

I'm seeing very large thread titles and normal font inside the thread. I'm not sure if I can adjust on my computer just for this site. I'll dig around.

I’m near sighted and old so I have to take my glasses off to read. Bifocals, which I have, are a pain in the neck, literally!
This is way better!

When Mike made some code changes it enlarged the Forum and thread titles but not the fonts in the posts people made.
He corrected it and it's pretty good now. I also found it is browser specific, so if it looks odd in one try another.

All I can say is the way the fonts are controlled is very weird, I don’t get it, and I’m glad we have it looking halfway decent.
