I know many of us have built guitars throughout the years and I thought it would be nice to have a collective place to show them off. Here's a couple of mine:
A 20 year-old Carvin Bolt Kit that I merely stained with tung oil and assembled. I've since replaced the stock pickups with Fralin Blues Specials. Instead of a third pot, it has a mini-toggle.
Custom Tele Body and Neck: Warmoth. The neck is a compound radius with a boat profile. It took some getting used to but I love it. Knowing my limitations, I was afraid to do the paint so I took it to a local auto bodyshop. I wanted the back of the neck to be clearcoated but they painted it instead. After I saw it, I liked it.
Pickups: Tonerider Tele Hot Classic in the bridge, Tonerider Strat Classic Blues in the middle, and Lollar P90 Underwound in the neck. The pickups are very balanced. Bridge: Wilkinson Vintage Controls: 5-way selector with a mini-toggle for 7 pickup combinations. It does the strat quack very well in positions 2 and 4.
Future upgrades will include replacing the pickguard on the Tele and installing a bucker in the bridge of the strat.

Looking forward to seeing the Tele with the new PG.
I'll post some of the guitars I've kept.
This was a freebee From Mike. I went a little nutz on it. Two volume controls, no tone control, two Parson Street HBs. Ugly:
Then there's this mess:
And its loud sister:

Very nice! Did you utilize a dreadnought bracing system?

Very nice collection Lefty...although I have to admit, looking at all of those left handed guitars totally disoriented me...lol

Here are some I’ve made. Some from scratch. This was the first, a lot of the FDP refugees will recognize it. My guitar player at the time gave me the Cuban Mahogany for the body, Warmoth neck and sources other parts from various places Then I made the Banjordlele, I did install the frets on a StewMac Mandolin fretboard, A short scale cigarbox bass I made after trading my Ashbory

Hushnel, did you come to an Ohio jam many years ago?

No, I wouldn’t have been me. I’ve only ever driven through Ohio, back when I lived in Pittsburgh.

Okay! Someone attended a jam with a guitar similar to yours but I couldn't place the face.

A Few more. This one I took up to Wootenwoods, I spent the 7 days with Victor, his brothers, Chuck Rainey and the other talented staff. I had all the staff sign the front, those attending the back. This one was made with HomeDepot pine, it was a nice 2X8, really clean and straight, it looked like a bass just waiting to be discovered. I stained it with a propane torch.

I'd never heard of Albert so I checked out a couple of YT videos. He has some chops.

Albert and I have been friends for at least 25 years, we never played in the same band but always sat in with each other when one of us had a night off. Then he was discovered by Jr. Wells and moved up to Chicago, played with Jr. right up until Jr. passed away. Started fronting his own band after that. Unknown to me this video was taken while I was sitting in with Albert, it was a jam with him and the Bridget Kelly band, this was 4 months after crushing my left hand in a motorcycle accident, I sent this link to the doctor whom repeatedly told me I’d never play again. Albert at the High Dive Gainesville FL
