And one from my Gibson SG days... I definitely should have grown a mustache back then.

Right after getting everything ready for a motorcycle club meeting gig. These are probably the est gigs, these biker dudes do love some rock and roll!

While not an actual gig, here's a pic from a practice about 15 years ago with my blonde Heritage 535. It's the one that got away that I wish I had back.

A couple of John Hora shots from our 50th Anniversary Reunion show back in 2016. My beloved orange Robben through a low power Twin (not pictured). Out of the bedroom and on to the stage, I was in heaven! i.imgur.com/FIT6D8z.jpgi.imgur.com/MVGmqVJ.jpg

Thanks! It's one of the original Ibanez-made versions, '93 by the SN. I found it on an "ignored & forlorn" rack at Sam Ash in Paramus, NJ back in '94. They let me do a string change, cleanup & setup in the store. Thing was amazing and the price made it the score of the year. Since then it got a bridge & tailpiece change and a recent fret job. I liked it so much I got another one in cherry sunburst. I had one of the Custom Shop Robben Elites for awhile but I like these much better.

I have never seen one like that before. Very nice looking guitar

Never mush marketi ng because this isn't what Fender's DNA is supposed to be. When it went to the Custom Shop what came out were gorgeous, but overly expensive and they died. I was told Fender will still do a Custom Shop Esprit but at $10k who's buying? They tried a Squier version about 15 years ago that was a dog. I remain hopeful, these were too good to not be available off the rack.

Not used to seeing Fender put out that type and quality guitar. It is better looking than most Gibsons. Does have sorta an Ibanez Vibe to it.

Rocking Taqqadun, Iraq 2003. 64th Armor, 3rd Infantry Division, had a picnic and a talent show a couple of months after conquering Baghdad. The PA was "borrowed" from the defunct Fallujah Raiway Terminal. I played a Line 6 POD into it. Later, we replaced it in the railroad station. How’s this? The Chillicothe, TX firehouse jam session with me on Fender bass (back to camera) and my son on mandolin (standing, next to me).
