Dusted off the beast and put the TC Electronic Nova System in the loop. Completely different amp now.

I have a ProSonic head and a matching 2X12 cab with Celestion Vintage 30s in it. This thing can get all the Fender cleans you could want, but it can get down and dirty at the touch of a button!

An old bandmate had one and it sounded great. Classic Fender tones.

I tried a combo years ago at a music store and loved it. That memory lead me to recently buy a Supersonic 22 which I suppose has a similar approach to its gain stages. Although it lacks a rectifier switch feature that distinguished the Prosonic which seems like a clever idea (ie, SS vs tube class AB vs tube class A). Kudos to Fender for doing something different and moving on. Too bad the market didn't latch on to it. It certainly had great Fender cleans plus lots more tonal options.

Great amps! Bethel Church in Redding, CA still uses them. I saw this in a recent video I watched about a worship conference they had.

I’ve still got one of these.....they might be my favorite Fender amp of all time if they had tremolo and a lower wattage setting.
A couple years ago I did the national anthem for a few events at the university where I worked. They were worried at first that the Prosonic wouldn’t be loud enough. Then they asked if I could turn it down. Ha!!
