There's a Player strat for sale that I'm dying to get. I don't need another strat, but it looks and plays amazing, and it's used and the price is right.
Anybody have thoughts on this model? Pros vs cons?

Strats are for people who can't play Teles. How am I doin? The Vaughan brothers would like to have a word with you( well one of them anyways). 😂 You can always count on it in a bar fight though. Serious though, I have heard great things about the player series. |

Pros vs cons? Actually checked one out when I dropped my Strat off for a fret job. I haven't played an MIM in a long time, the one I played had a great neck and it even had the 22nd fret. Very nice. |

The pickups in the Player series are as good as the ones in my 2000 MIA AS Strat...possibly better. If the price is really good, get it. see if it replaces your current Strat. If so, sell that one along. If not, flip the Player.

Jonny there's a blue dot in the pic near the bridge. Is it a sticker, photo reflection, or blemish?

That is a screen cap. The light blue dot is the pic that's being viewed (one of five). Look closer and you'll see four darker dots to the right.
