Nice tones from your Paul and good band sound. I see by your profile pick that you've cut your hair and lost your tan.

OK, I'll play. Not a great example but me on acoustic and vox. 1 take. I hope I don't get bumped, it is my attempt to set Psalm 95 to music. Not trying to evangelize anyone, just sharing a song.

I probably wouldn't have noticed the lyrics had you not mentioned anything. I really like your accompaniment. You have that constant back beat going while playing the bass line... and singing at the same time, too. Great job!

Thank you Geno, I appreciate the compliment. If is a fun one to play. If I am playing electric I play slide. Mucho funno.

Here's something I stuck on Soundcloud years ago because a friend requested a surfy version of the original theme from the Batman TV show for a project she was working on. I recorded it with a Jazzmaster, a Les Paul, a Taylor 814CE acoustic, and a Gretsch Jet bass through a Pod HD Pro into a Tascam DP24. The drums are an Alesis SR16 sequencer. soundcloud.com/therealgeno/batman

I'm surprised no one has done this yet. Here's an opportunity to let others sample your wares. Let's see a video or hear an audio clip of your playing.
I'll start it off with a YT clip from a FDP Jam a decade ago. Uncle Pat is singing, BradP is on bass, Buckeye Blues on the black Tele, and I don't recall the drummer's name. They had already started this slow blues burn and I decided I wanted it. I'm setting up at the beginning of the song that have solos at about 1:00 and 8:00.
My tone isn't great because I didn't get a chance to tweak it, but oh well. BTW, I'm the backwards one.
Watcha got?
Cool jam, and thanks for starting this thread. Sorry it took me do long to give a listen.

OK, I'll play.
Here's a little promo video from 2018 of Stallion Stallion Wichita Facebook. I'm the bass player, sitting behind the front row. Due to my back, I can't stand for a whole set with a bass around my neck. If you keep watching, you'll also see me play the accordion. Some very sad news is that our drummer, Marc Mourning was killed in a pedestrian accident on Jan 31. We will be missing a great guy and a great drummer. Our plans are to continue as a band. We have another drummer lined up.
Good job, sure sorry about your drummer!

Wow, sad news, themaestro. I'll play. I ain't askeert. Here's me with some pals at a warehouse jam a few months back. I'm playing the pointy guitar and barking into the mic like a lunatic. I know I can't sing, but...that never stopped me! Here's me on guitar with some pals at an acoustic thing in someone's living room. Someone take that mic away from that guy. Rock on Peegoo

This one has been around before, I don’t have many videos of me playing. I’m a bassist, I don’t really do much fancy stuff either. This was recorded at the High dive in Gainesville FL about 3 months after my doctor told me I’d never play again after crashing the bike on I-75 north of Orlando. Albert Castiglia and Tim Fik swapping leads.

I posted this over on the FDP awhile back. I composed, played, and recorded this a few years ago. It's kind of strange considering I consider myself an electric guitarist, primarily. soundcloud.com/ninworks/solitarioWow, very nice!

How did I miss this one? Nice groove! I could never do solo acoustic because my voice isn't good enough. I envy those who can.

Nice! Very tight! It's noted you're playing Miles in an "All Blues" video.

If not mistaken, I hear some Bonamassa influences in there.

Nice groove. Clean and tight. Question--what is the rig you are running there?

Nice groove. Clean and tight. Question--what is the rig you are running there? Thanks. I'm using a Roland-ready Strat that's been fitted with Bill Lawrence pickups and, as of about a year ago, a Warmoth fatback neck. Since replacing the neck the notes ring truer and therefore the synth notes attack and sustain better. The amp is a Carvin Nomad (1x12 x 50W) and my (gigantic) pedalboard consists of a Roland GR55 synth module, Cry Baby wah, Full Drive 2 and a Deep Blue delay. It's unfortunate that we may not be able to play out for a good while because we recently added a female vocalist but only made it through 2 rehearsals. She was going to be the shot in the arm we needed to find more gigs. But now it's the waiting game and who knows if there will be many venues left to find gigs when this virus threat passes.

Okay... someone needs to post the worst song/playing, so it might as well be me! This is an original written around 2003 on a Boss BR-8 digital recorder. No bass or vocals, as I can't sing. The drum track is just 2 presets from a cheap drum machine. Sorry, but I got carried away with effects! It's just a mellow, pop-type song with simple chords and a Bridge (with clams) that doesn't really fit (I was trying to "rock" it up a bit). This is the only song that I was able to put on-line. I sent it from a cassette player to an old computer, to Reaper, and then downloaded it to Soundclick. I really don't know how I did it, so I was never able to get another song on-line. It's a shame, because I have other originals that are better (some even have solos!), but oh well. I'll even post the lyrics. I really need to buy another digital recorder! www.soundclick.com/music/songInfo.cfm?songID=6557852"Hours Slipped Away" Intro- Verse 1- You took my hand, and walked with me Held me close, and talked with me The hours slipped away Verse 2- We shared our hopes and bared our fears Fell in love as night grew near The hours slipped away Chorus- I never knew, that love could feel like this Never had, I never had a clue I look around, and I'm in Paradise And I know, I owe it all to you Bridge- Verse 3- We spent the night beneath the stars Lying in each other's arms The hours slipped away It was such a perfect day Chorus- I never knew, that love could feel like this Never had, I never had a clue I look around, and I'm in Paradise And I know, I owe it all to you Verse 4- Morning comes, I'm back at home I reach for you, but I'm alone Was it only just a dream? It was only just a dream

I like the groove. I may take a stab at it and lay it down if you don't mind. I have no fear.
