My wife and I as well as our oldest use the 20 oz. mugs. Except for my wife, that's more than enough coffee for me and my son during the course of a day. And, as previously posted, the coffee stays hot for hours.

I used to work with some salesman who between the four of them drank two of those big restaurant style pots of coffee a day. That is a lot of coffee.

Remember the Maxwell house commercials from the 1960's. What Chris posted proved to me I still knew exactly how the sound of the Maxwell House Percolator when. My parents had an electric percolator. I liked the sound they made.

I had a Sunbeam back in the 70’s. Then switched to a Mr Coffee and never looked back.

My office used to be right by the break room, in fact I had 2 doors and one was to the break room. Coffee was flowing constantly. Now I drink, maybe 4-5 cups a day. At home we are back to TJ's through a Mr Coffee with a shot of espresso, Mr Coffee also. At work Mr. Kuerig. You know French press is ok, kind of a pain to clean. I believe I will buy in of those high temp drip deals. I like waking up to a 12 cup pot (converts to 4 mugs...?).

With the right grind a percolator made great coffee. Some of my fondest memories are me and my Grandfather drinking percolater coffee.

I must say, no fancy perk, no fancy coffee blend...I’m all about getting the caffeine into my body. I’d shoot it if I could.
I drink Folgers and I’m a geezer. Now get off of my kitchen counter, you punk whipper snappers!
