Love it.
We're thinking of adding it to our set list
Have you heard the Rush version?

I was a huge Buffalo Springfield fan, and listened to that album many, many times. Hung Upside Down, Sad Memory, Bluebird...
I saw them in concert, probably 1967, but unfortunately Stephen Stills wasn’t there, for some reason.

If they only could have gotten Crosby to join Buffalo Springfield they might have had something... ;o)
I've got that album both on vinyl and CD. That was some fine music.

Actually, he sat in with them at the Monterrey Pop Festival in 1967, while he was still in the Byrds. Much to the chagrin of the other Byrds. Neil Young was absent for that gig. Young was constantly leaving the band and the returning. On Buffalo Springfield Again, the liner notes credit Crosby with "inspiration" for "Rock and Roll Woman." Supposedly he was just jamming with Buffalo Springfield and he came up with that F to D chord progression. The song itself is in some way like one his songs on the Byrds' Younger that Yesterday album; I think "Lady Friend." Buffalo Springfield Again is a great album. I just have it on CD. And copied to the iTunes on my phone. The first time I heard it was when I was in college, living in the dorm. One of the guys next door had the album and we could hear it through the thin walls of the dorm. I felt like knocking on the door and requesting that they play the album, but they would have thought I was being sarcastic. One of the guys in that dorm room became a published political cartoonist in Louisiana.

The first Manassas album was really good. And rather eclectic. And a 2-record set that fits on one CD.
(Remember vinyl and CDs?)

Neil did a remake of it on his Trans album. I wish that he wouldn't have.
