Pinetree, you have quite a work bench and related tools! Hope to see more cool stuff posted in the future.

You did a superb Job there! Allen amps are said to be very good. Quality components and Definitely Vintage Style design and layout. I love it. I wanted to buy one several years ago but the cost was too much for my pocket book at the time. Curious, what brand of caps are the light beige caps on photo #25?
What speaker did you put in it?
Are the output tubes 6L6 or 6V6

1. I really don't remember. 2. It's got two 10" Allen branded Eminence speakers. 3. 6V6 (JJ's)

Is that a Hakko station? If it is how do you like it. I'm looking to replace my old Weller.

I absolutely love it.
Although, it's the "analog" version, and I don't think it's still available.
The ability to adjust the temperature, plus interchangeable tips (pencil and wide/flat screwdriver blade) allow you to do everything from tiny DiMarzio wires to cap cans.

Fender Squier Super Sonic Switchcraft toggle install, Guitarfetish pickups with "QuikPlug" connectors, which were no fun at all (because the coil tap wire for the bridge PU was wired differently, and it took about 4 hours to figure it out).

Nice work as always Piney!
Last week I worked on an LP copy (kit build, not by me) that was, let's say, "rough" (being polite). It was in for a pickup swap and set-up.
I make no claims to be in Pinetree's league with my soldering skills, but holy crap, the job inside this thing was just horrible! It looked like everything was stuck together with blobs of silver chewing gum! Whilst everything "worked", in good conscience I just couldn't leave it like that. So I de-soldered everything and started fresh. (I swear the guitar was lighter when I finished!)
My point is, despite my soldering ability being way less than robotically perfect, I gained a new sense of confidence after seeing what I could do compared the average DIY Joe.
BTW, I could (should?) do an whole other thread on this guitar... It had a screw-fixed neck... that was glued-in... and crooked!!! (oh, and screwed!) Ay caramba!!

Always amazed at the talent and skill of some of the forum members. You though are exceptional even for this forum....... Just curious, how long have you been building guitars ? and how did you get started...
