Another 1967 release, not a pop hit however, but a local band, very cool sound, the entire LP rocks:

I did not plan this, but yet another from 1967. I used to play this every Sunday morning back in the day, off the infamous Banana LP, (yes the banana skin could be pealed off revealing a banana).

Vinyl, Mark O Connor, a very versatile, super skilled musician from a wonderful 1987 LP:

^^ Another by War. I bought this when I was in my early teens. My Mom hated this record.

That's a great, overlooked cut, always loved it.

Off a CCR CD compilation, a great cover job of a 1956 Screaming Jay Hawkins tune( yes.....the same guy that did that great 1969 hit, Constipation Blues, HA!).

Great tune. Groovin.. Vinyl. Glad that I've seen Curtis shortly before his accident and then down and out..

It was amazing that LP flows very nicely. And the light show, for it's time, was legendary. Daryl Stuermer was my teacher who played bass for them live then.

Old age may be playing tricks on my memory but I'm remembering with strong certainty in Milwaukee Daryl was playing bass. Perhaps they swapped roles at times.

His wiki page says he plays bass as well and I know Rutherford plays guitar so it's certainly possible, I just don't remember them swapping.
