In a Tommy Bolin mood today -- I started with his "Private Eyes" but had to move on to "Teaser" which I think is a much better album. Original vinyl.
Turn it up.

I find the weedly, synth-sounding stuff that starts about halfway through to be an annoying distraction, but other than that...

This album was cutting edge in 1969, I remember taking it to music class and having the teacher play it in 5th grade, hah! Blew the little kiddies minds.

After my Prince Far I enjoyment I’ve been saturating myself in dub.
On CD this time.
I know it’s wrong but it sounds so good.
I was listening to dubby Dylan earlier. I may inflict that on you at a later date.

My older bros used to bag on me for playing this LP, but I've always loved it. Steppenwolf At Your Birthday Party:

The record shops opened up in Scotland today.
I had my first browse in a shop since December and came away with this recently reissued Who album.
I’d never really fancied the album before although I do love this song. I had it on vinyl on the old Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy compilation back in the seventies.

It took some time for me back in the day to warm up to the Who. Still not one of my favs, but I do like em, to a point.

But not today. I've been on a Miles Davis jag for the past week. I love this record. A re-release of the original 10" vinyl.

After mentioning Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy, I realised that I did not have much early Who/Detours on CD.
Spinning 180gm reissue vinyl. A favourite of mine. It may have been an adolescent thing.😉

New Teenage Fanclub album, Endless Arcade. Released on Friday. Their best in a good few years IMHO.
On green vinyl. Bought online from a Glasgow indie record shop who threw in a LP sized piece of card album artwork, signed by the band. Which was nice.

The *other* Bill Evans. I don't remember when or where I bought this record but I think this is the first time I've listened to it. Evans plays sax as well as keyboards, John McLaughlin helps out with his guitar. Pretty solid 80s jazz fusion.

Love the hell out of Goats Head Soup, some folks like to bag on it, but it's right up there with their best albums for me:
Spinning a Japan issued High Resolution Cutting Mini LP SHM CD, sounds amazing.....

OK, hang me out to dry, but I love Abba.
I Saw them do this LP live when it came out back in the day, they were jaw droopingly great!
The LP, Voulez Vous. I've got it spinning on a half speed vinyl master LP.
