Huge fav of mine from the very first time I heard it on "underground" FM radio in 1970, (1969 release), original 1969 vinyl:

Gonna finish the night with an all time guitar player fav of mine, Roy Buchanan, original vinyl 1972. It doesn't get any better than this.
This cut alone drove me to woodshed harder than ever on my guitar:

Let me bore you for a few moments and explain those silly pickups on that Hagstrom.
I had those triple bucker humbuckers custom made for me by KMD many years ago.
They have 3 single coil tapered blades, epoxy potted, with all 3 coils wires available.
I've wired them for all options, single coils, humbuckers, triple buckers, series, parallel, phase.
The two upper switches are 3 way for coil selection(s)/parallel, series, phase. The lower switch is a typical lead/both/rhythm selection, the 3 pots are vol/vol/tone, the tone is a stacked pot with different caps and a kill switch, the 2 vol pots are push pull selecting how the 3 coils are engaged. Sounds confusing, but it's not, super versatile, and due to shielded cavities and covers the hum and noise even in single coil mode is very low. I took a long time to sort this all out.
It works well and offers more useable choices than any other guitar I've ever tried. Hence it's still my main squeeze even though I have a fairly large collection of axes.

Nice! Looks "well-taken-care-of". Yeah, for her age she wears it well. It's pickups and controls all all totally modded from stock. I did have an issue with it's unusual neck several years back, it has an H beam & truss rod in it and a floating fretboard end starting at the 16th fret. Well it developed a very odd hump in it, the neck is a bolt on so I took it off, put part of it in a vise along with a 50 pound weight on the hump and reversed the tension on the truss rod, I let it sit that way for several months and it straightened out, so the neck is perfect again. It's been my main squeeze for many years, as the way I wired the triple bucker pickups gives me a lot of tonal choices.Don't recognize those pups: The Fender Triple Bucker rails weren't angled like that, if memory serves. Who made those?

Who made those?" Yup, the Fenders were straight, very different overall. KMD made these. I had them special ordered designed to my specs. Totally different than the Fender ones. Here's what the Fender ones looked like:

Here's some great improv with some tasty chops. I do believe it's the first time I've seen Tommy Emmanuel playing an electric.
He's been doin' that awhile:

From the year I was born, 1959. I'm spinning some 45's tonight. I could listen to this endlessly, what a simply lovely tune!

Dylan, off Blonde On Blonde, original vintage vinyl from 1966 spinning. Wow...1966. 55 years ago.
This double LP changed my whole thinking on music. I first heard it all the way through in 1968 when my older brother brought it home. I was only 9 years old, but I immediately got it, it rang true & blew me away.
What can one say? Yeah, I've heard serious hate for this LP over the years, (and Dylan in general). Ok, sure I get it. Almost that is.
This double LP is the Mona Lisa of music, standing right next to Hendrix's Electric Ladyland.

I like Bob and I like Blonde on Blonde. I have to be in the mood -- but I like most of his stuff. I'm sure I've played "Blood on the Tracks" more than any of his other records.

Git 'em, Bloomers!
Robertson:
Both those guys were excellent matches for the material, IMHO.

I put Blood On The Tracks right up there with his older classic albums. My older brother was far too biased towards the earlier stuff to ever accept it. His loss.

Elmore James. This is one of those comps on Pickwick called "Screamin' Blues". The record is still in great shape. I love Elmore.
