Guilty pleasure, I love the hell out of this group. Yup, I do. Seen them several times.
Every concert was fantastic, but this album's concert was their best ever for me. They had a huge children's choir culled from locals backing them, amazing.
Spinning now off a just cracked open, new, POLAR MUSIC Half Speed Mastered Deluxe Edition 2x 180gram vinyl release. Sounds amazing.

I came across this today while in what I'm sure will be a futile attempt to organize my records. I probably haven't listened to it in 40 years. I gave it a bath and a spin. Sounds damn good for a 47 year old chunk of wax. Radio City by Big Star.

Original vinyl, there's some pretty cool imagery in these lyrics.
I contend it's about an LSD trip, others don't. Jes saying.
Anyhow, there's some derivative Bach on the organ as well as some lyrics lifted from old sources.

Love this album, saw them do it live when it came out, 1974. A good follow up to their first album, some consider this weaker but I'd say both are equally great. The first album was more raw and powerful, this more refined, polished, love em both. Montrose, off Paper Money:

Although I'm not a huge Rush fan, I grew up on this album, (1975) and saw em do it live, IMO Their best effort:

Saw them do this album live when it came out in 1971, I was 12 years old.
The concert was one huge cloud of smoke, literally. And it sounded amazing.
Bought the album the next day after the concert, I'm spinning that same original vinyl right now, 50 years later. Sounds amazing.

Original vinyl, been spinning Django since I was a young teen, got my first Django LP in 1972 when I was 13.
Loved this tune from the first time I ever heard it back then:
