Been looking at a lot of them. I was going for a Jam Station but my moola is a little tight right now. Saw this and thought hmmm then I heard a video review. I will only be using it at home so maybe I won't kill it. There were more reviews of a lower model but I decided to give it a chance since there is a 30 day return on it. And if by chance it doesn't I can always go back to using my Tascam 800 record something on a track and on playback play along with it (but it is a bit more of a pain but works well)

I've wondered about some of these cheapo foreign loopers too. There are many and there's no reason they can't work well...it's not rocket science and I'm sure our buddies in asia are adept at copying, right ? And it's Amazon. If you nolieky, send it back for full refund ! If I had the time I might try everything cheap just because I know there are gems to be found. I haven't got there yet but the idea of having all my backing tracks in one little pedal to carry around. The Digitech XT has 99 slots, computer program support, and a cf card slot that will take up to 32gb I think. But a lot of people don't need all that. I'll be waiting for a review...

I've seen some Bill Frisell videos where he uses them but not sure what he's using.

After receiving the Looper Pedal I totally reworked my pedalboard I built in 2018. It now consists of the Boss GA FS Multi switch foot pedal, Roland EV-5 Expression pedal (for FX Wah, Tremolo rate, Delay rate, etc. ) , Amp/ Pedalboard power foot pedal control, Roland EV-5 Expression pedal for Volume control, Peterson StroboStomp pedal and build 45 degree ramp to hold the Looper Pedal up slightly above and to the right of the FX pedal. 3/4” bases to increase the height of Expression and power pedals imgur.com/gallery/Vcd96Vi

Update: It is ok for the price. Only saves 9 songs but what would one expect for $50. It will do me until I decide to spring for something better (if I ever do). Only using it in a Bedroom environment.

Thanks for the update- I’ve been considering the Ditto mini-looper pedal, also for at home learning.

I have the Ditto and like it. It's simple and intuitive. The only drawback is that unlike the more expensive loopers it doesn't quantize. You have to hit the pedal on the downbeat just right. But with a little practice you can get pretty adept and getting a nice loop. I think you can pick one up for less than $100.
I also have Trio creator/looper+. It's great and does so much more but as I recall it was in the $350 range.

I have only used my mini looper for about 30 minutes the other night just trying to get used to it. Like yours it is intuitive. Can you explain what you are referring to as ability to quantize please? Thanks sir
