Couldn't find anything in the rules that said not to post, so I will do so as a public service. Came across an ad from a company called "Light in the Box," selling those infrared non-contact forehead thermometers. On Amazon, these are either out of stock or have a an extended delivery date. Not so with LIB; 3-5 days. So I hit them up for masks. Bingo. As many as you want. Again, 3-5 day delivery, whereas Amazon is talking May 21-June 12. Latex gloves? Same thing. This all seemed too good to be true, so I did a little digging. Light in the Box is a Chinese company, which in itself doesn't sour the deal. But apparently, from the reviews, they promise lickety-split delivery, but are not shy about sending the delivery date far into the future once you've paid. Quality? Hit and miss. Refunds? Again, according to the reviews, not very responsive. Just a cautionary note. www.advisoryhq.com/articles/lightinthebox-reviews/

I just saw an ad from them for full face goggles. Protection while impressing the ladies...

If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is...

Nothing in the rules prevents discussion of virus derivative topics. Discussing the virus and it’s spread and/or statistics are not allowed because ProBoards has a policy against discussion that may contain misinformation or distortion of the facts, and I’ve chosen not to be the arbiter or what is true and what is not.
Discussion of what is or is not available for purchase is fine. There are already several threads for it, another one is ok.

We had a large supply of masks which have been handed over to the local health services. I am amazed we are allowing companies to sell to the public when frontline workers are short!
