There is ample archaeological evidence, that some of our early ancestor cavemen actually roamed the world’s ancient beaches.
Although what they used as metal detectors remains a mystery.

When I was working an archaeology dig in Upper Revolta in 1980, we discovered many of them pushed shopping carts to prevent dragging their knuckles on the ground.
