If they don't win another playoff game this year, they're still heroes just for taking out the team that most of the country didn't want to see in the Super Bowl again! What a game last night!
Sorry, but this deserves its own thread!

I live amongst a bunch of Pats fans. I am not really a NFL guy but I like to see them lose just to tone down the smug factor.

Good for the Titans although I believe it will be a different story when they meet the Baltimore Buzzsaw next week.

I was happy to hear that this morning. I watched a bit of the game thinking they would win again and turned it off.

Sure was fun watching Belicheck go nuts over Vrabel running down the clock on that punt.

I didn't watch the game, but really wish I had, just to see those smug b####rds lose. Plus I get to needle my buddy who is the biggest Tom Brady fan not named Tom Brady. The next question....will Brady retire?

So many great comments already! Thanks guys for confirming my suspicions. I think any team that dominates any sport the way the Pats have, becomes hated if that's the correct word. I'm sure there was similar sentiment when the Blackhawks won 3 Stanley Cups. Great for me, not so great for other hockey fans.
Titans are my 2nd team after the Bears. Since the Bears are out, yes, I'm rooting for the Titans. But, nobody is expecting them to go all the way or anything, so it doesn't matter to me if they win another playoff game this year, they already did their job AFAIC'd!

If the Pats hadn’t lost last night I don’t think they would have gotten past the Chiefs next Sunday. They took a real hit when Gronk retired and they barely got past the Chiefs last year in the playoffs. Brady is showing some age but the real issue is lack of dependable targets.

Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill both helped their contract negotiations last night.

I've been watching the Pats play all season and they haven't been as strong as they were as last season. They started showing weakness early on and the games that won for the most part were by the skin of their teeth. 2/3 of the way through the season they really started being ineffective on both sides of the ball.

Don't worry; the Texans will take care of them just fine!

Respect for Brady & Edelman but the rest of the team? Buh bye.

As great as Brady and Edelman are, It takes more than just them to win a game. Their defensive line must be strong to protect Brady and the Defense must be stronger.

Watching the Vikings and the Saints right now... It's tied up at the end of 4th quarter. Crap. Hoped Minnesota was gonna pull it out, but in overtime, I'm not real optimistic.

Great game by the Titans.
I much prefer Derrick Henry wearing the tri-star on his uni than that other red color.. awesome performance in the run-game.

Respect for Brady & Edelman but the rest of the team? Buh bye. Edelman led the NFL in dropped passes this season with 13. I'd say buh bye to him, too.

A question for the Pats haters -- supposed Brady does become a free agent and decides to make a move (which I doubt). Would you still hate him if your team is the one to pick him up?

Yes, I'm not a Tom Brady fan. I do respect his skills, but I would not like GB to have him as QB even when he was in his prime.
Ask me about the coach....
