This is a topic that is very subjective. Everyone has their favorites.
The DAW I use is Pro Tools 11. The plugin I use the most is the native Avid 7 Band EQ. It does almost anything I could ask an equalizer to do. It has a phase reversal switch, high and low pass filters that are extremely versatile, and enough sweepable octave bands to cover any frequency spectrum. The low bass and highest frequency bands are switchable from either a shelving style or parametric. Each frequency band has a Q width adjustment. IMO if you need more EQ than that then it wasn't recorded correctly.
I stepped up to a UAD system about a year ago and keep adding plugins to it as needed. I really like the dbx 160 and the 1176 emulations as well. The Pultec EPQ-1 is a monster. For the limited controls it has the way it works is marvelous.
PsP makes some really nice stuff as well. I like their different EQ's. I use them almost as much as the Native Pro Tools 7 band. They also have a real nice buss compressor called The Vintage Warmer. If your mix needs a little heat then that one is for you.
Whadda ya got?

Waves EQ, Singularity and iZotope RX pack are favorites.

I forgot about Izotope RX. I use the noise reduction section of that a lot. It works especially well on old analog recordings that I've transferred to digital.

I use P/T 10 and agree that the native 7 band is probably the one I use the most. Also the native reverb.

I've been doing a lot in iOS lately. The RE-1 tape machine app is frigging killer. Of course, I might still be in the honeymoon phase, but between that and a few other iOS apps hosted in AUM it's a rather tidy setup.
