I ordered an American Professional JB in sonic grey from Sweetwater back in March. It was backordered and I finally received it last Thursday. It's a beautiful instrument and plays well. Just one thing I noticed on the headstock...
I measured the nut width and it's 1-5/8" so maybe I got a jazz bass body with a PB neck. Collector's item?

Congratulations Mark!
I believe that is like my 2017 American Pro Jazz Bass, however the neck is thinner (or flatter on back) front to back and easy to play. My 2018 Fender Player series P's neck is also easy to play because it in thinner or flatter on back

The American Professional Jazz Basses on the Sweetwater site say Jazz on the headstock. Me thinks there was a mistake made somewheres. If I recall, a PBass nut is normally 1.75". I have an American Elite Precision with a 1.625" nut and I love it. It's a modern D with a compound radius. If that's what's on there, it's a winner!

Thank you, that was the term I was searching for in describing the neck on my American Pro Jazz (Compound D) which is a little flatter on the back. I am very happy with it. My Player P while being slightly wider at the nut is the easiest P I have ever played as it has the Compound D neck.

I'd imagine the Corona plant was rushing to get product out to distributors and retailers while maintaining social distancing. I'm good with the P-Bass neck. Cheers.

Shouldn't there be another quotation mark before Precision

Maybe it's special one made to play jazz very "precisely"?

Me, I'd be upset because I'd want the 1-1/2" nut.
But if you're happy with 1-5/8" (or whatever it is) that's all that matters.

Shouldn't there be another quotation mark before Precision those are trademarks after Fender and Precision Bass, not quotation marks. It's an R inside a circle, denoting Registered Trademark.
