I'm doing some GB recording and really wanting the vocals especially to pop out nicely. I'm coming around to the notion plugins are really important. I'm shopping around and I see a couple sites that market them and the Abbey Road plugins are promising.
The free plugins that come with GB are okay but kind of 'meh...' I want something higher quality. So for example I think the vocals should have delay, reverb and doubler in a single package. A harmonizer is nice but too much autotune is bad.
Same with guitar. The electric guitar plugin pedalboard feature is very artificial and not something I want to put out there.
But I'm looking for some experience and recommendations for preferred plugins for Garageband that are user friendly for vocals and guitar.

Call Sweetwater. They'll know what plug-ins you can use. They're pretty good about that kind of stuff.
