For me its Fender . Ive had 3 Blues Jrs , 2 59 Bassman ri, a silverface Super Reverb , two DRRIs ( I still own one) and a 68 Princeton Custom.Oh and I forgot about the 2 Hot rod Deluxes and a Blues Deluxe. And yet I am looking at putting together a 57 Deluxe clone.
What amps can you not get enough of?

I would also have to say Fender. My 67 Silverface Super Reverb sounds great with all of my current guitars. I tried a Marshall Class 5 several years ago and ended up returning it. It sounded like it had blanket covering it. I also have a 68 Custom Princeton Reverb and a Mesa Boogie Mark Five 25 that has a good Fender-like clean tone.

All I've got are Allen amps. But ultimately, they are just high-grade, meticulous Fenders.

I've always been partial to Fender. I can get good dirty sounds out of a cardboard box. Clean is where most amps come up short. Give me a great clean base, and I can build from there. I've owned a ton of amps over the years including Fender, Marshall, Mesa, Dr Z, Germino, etc... but my favorite gigging rig of all time was as follows:
Fender Twin Reverb with VS Jekyl and Hyde (overdrive), Boss DS-1 (Keeley SED Mod overdrive), VS H20 (delay), DD-5 (delay), Danecho (delay), Teese (wah pedal), Ernie Ball Volume pedal.

If I had a bazillion dollars, I'd have an old tweed champ, a BF Princeton, Deluxe, Twin, Pro, Super, tweed Deluxe and Bassman with an old tank Reverb.
I'd have a Marshall stack of some sort and a Bluesbreaker.
An AC30
I think Fender wins it for me.

All I've got are Allen amps. But ultimately, they are just high-grade, meticulous Fenders. I have an Allen Old Flame and a Hot Fudge with Nuts that I built from kits. Great amps, and I'd love to build another one except for lack of money and some vision issues. I've accumulated a few vintage Fender amps over the years but I can handle the routine troubleshooting and maintenance issues. They're pretty good too!

Did you build those from kits or buy them already assembled ready for use? Have heard over the years they were top notch They are built by David Allen. And, yes...they are most certainly top notch. Great tone, great build quality, great durability. And not that expensive, either. Haven't thought about other amps (well...maybe a Katana at some point...) for a long time. I've got a Brown Sugar w/1-15" Weber California in it and an Accomplice w/1-12" Weber California.

It’s finding 50 eggs that is the trick.

Fender. I have 6 (all Fenders) & that's about my limit. Not because I can't afford more but because of the belief that amps are like cars. You let an amp sit without firing it up and practicing or gigging with it... the amp gives you nothing but trouble.

Did you find as I did theWeber California speakers to a while to break in before the tone smoothed out with less harsh highs? Once the dis they are sweet sounding

Marshall please. I've had a ton of fender amps over the years and always sold them off. The only ones I have now are a Blues Jr and a Prosonic neither of which are being used at this time. My favorite Fender amp happens to be a Mesa/Boogie Mark V. The clean channel w/reverb is spectacular. YMMV

Did you find as I did theWeber California speakers to a while to break in Honestly I can't remember. The one in the Allen Accomplice (1-12") was owned previously by "picnic"...one of our brethren who used to visit with us on the previous version of Moe's. Haven't heard from him in a while. Anyway...I got the amp from him, so that California was probably already broken in. Played it the other night and it sounds sooooooo good.

Yes sir, when broken in they do sound amazing It took me 10-12 hours of pumping sound through them (In between playing I pumped music through them for 3 to 4 hours with door closed to room and running errands.

Vintage Fenders. I have 1968, BL DE Bandmaster, Bassman, and Dual showman. They look great next to each other and sound good too. I pair them with A Leslie 44W through an ABY switch. Jim

So... 12 now. See now, that would bother me, not having a multiple of 5. You need to buy 3 more to make it a nice and comfortable 15. You're welcome in advance.
