Modeling amp? No thanks. I’ve gone down that bunny trail twice and regretted it both times. No more. Just going solid state is difficult enough for me. Honestly, I hate it. Just can’t justify keeping tube amps around anymore. Even my 6 watt VHT Special 6 was too loud around the house. Got rid of it.

I tried a Fender Mustang Modeling amp about 10-12 years ago and Fell out of love with it rather quickly. I could not justify a tube amp and bought a Fender Ultimate Chorus amp which I still have. I like it for it's cleans but overdriven not so much. A friend has one I bought and repaired to which he bought off me. He uses an Ibanez TS-9 pedal with it. For me the more I learn about the Katana amp the more I like it. I have my clean settings down for the most part but now need to work on overdriven tones (I must confess I don't use overdrive much) but would like to have some ready for if someone plays through the Katana they will have some usable tones.

It is V1 f it doesn't have two little stripes under the Katana symbol on front. (It doesn't)
