I know I'm in trouble when I receive an e-mail notice from my cable provider that's in Giant Bold Screaming Font format:
Import ant Bilii ng Noti ce
And when I'm told that "ippotent ifnorma tion" needs updating, I sit up and pay attention.
Spectrum says that my "pass eo wort" may not work any lon ger, which iss noooze to me.
The company "eanst-ly requts I take ac t in befo remy accont is in supsp penson.
I know the e-mail is genuine because it was sent by KathlL enn Grf ffin, VP
I don't know if I should deal with this first, or open that Publisher's Clearing House letter, that has my millionaire registered certificate number stamped on it.

I'd say your first order of business before any of that should be to send the Nigerian Prince your banking information so you can get that fat commission for helping him to get his millions out of the country...

Reminds me of a news report I heard today, where the 'journalist' actually said "Manha'in" instead of Manhatten.
I didn't know 4th graders were allowed to be reporters.
Apologies to 4th graders everywhere.

Another giveaway on the fake emails is when they tell you your (Bank A) account has been suspended and you don't even have an account with that bank!

I keep getting calls from “Visa and MasterCard services”. Like they are not the two biggest competitors in the market. It’s like getting a call from Coke AND Pepsi.

You'd think that the least these people could do would be to get "Grammarly" or a spell checker (don't most word processing programs contain spell checkers , these days?) so their letters wouldn't be so obviously bogus.
