a friend inherited his father's Fender Quad Reverb amp and wants to retube it. i'm trying to help him find the cheapest source...
i've looked some but it's overwhelming...

Thank you... i'm not sure what condition they're in. it's something he wants to do, make it like it was when his father was using it. i don't think it's been used in a long time. i'll pass this on to him.

The preamp tubes are likely fine. And, if they are, they’re valuable.
All the tubes might be fine.
The amp might need a cap job, if it hasn’t had one yet. If it hasn’t been fired up in years, it might be best to take it to a tech.
