I’ve had the Orange now for a couple of weeks and overall I’m pretty happy with the amp. The RT stands for reverb and tuner. The reverb is digital, but it’s pretty decent. Everything from clean to fill up metal is possible (and, yes, it will “chug” if that’s your thing). I’m most impressed with the clean. It also has a buffered effects loop and while I’m not a big fan of effects loops, this one is just as effective as any I’ve tried.
I would definitely recommend this amp to anyone looking for a no nonsense, no frills SS amp for home use, or even small gigs.
p.s. the tuner works great.

In the Sweetwater catalog, this one is mentioned as having Orange's "4-stage" pre-amp, allowing for impressive sound and control of the overdrive. It looks like an excellent amp and Orange seems to have made a point of having their fine tube amplifier experience figure strongly in their solid-state guitar amp designs.

They’re doing a good job AFAIC.

They make a 120w SS head that folks rave about.
I’ve not tried any of their SS amps... yet.
