I've been going through some "old" guitar parts and I came across a Fender Custom Shop pickup - I have no idea how I got it or where it came from. It's a single coil pickup with the Custom Shop sticker on the back - it has a blue dot on the back as well, and has 1 white wire and 1 black wire protruding from it. The 2 middle pole magnets are a bit higher than than the rest, and 2 of the magnets on one side are nearly flat against the top of the plastic casing.
Any ideas? Also, any idea if it's a bridge pickup or neck or doesn't matter?
Thanks!
Ooh! - edited to add - the wires have a waxy-ish cloth wrap, if that means anything. Oh, and there's a silver dot with the number '2' written on the back as well.

Um...that silver "dot" with the number 2 is actually the bottom of the end pole magnet.

Sounds like an American Vintage 62 RI Tele bridge pickup.

I don't know...it looks like it might be a Custom Shop '69 Strat pickup. ...I have no reason to have a Tele pickup, much less one from the Custom Shop.

Sounds like an American Vintage 62 RI Tele bridge pickup. If it was that, I would think it would have a large plate on the bottom. Which this one doesn't seem to.

Blue dots indicate it being a neck pickup, red dots a bridge pickup. That's all I got.

I have a set of Texas Special Strat pickups, and it sounds a lot like the neck pickup in the set, except there is no '2' and you can see all the pole piece ends on the bottom of the bobbin that aren't covered up by the sticker and blue dot.
This is pretty much exactly what my pickup looks like:

Could be...I did have a guitar with Texas Specials in it at one point.
