I believe that Leftee had a Origin 50 head, IIRC. How'd you like it Leftee?
Anyone else?
I see that they have lowered the price, perhaps they are going to discontinue it. From what I've read, they sound good.

I still have it. And love it. It does clean to mild crunch very nicely. Pop the front with a TS and it rawks hard.
I think I gave something like $450 for mine, minty fresh with the footswitch.

The Tilt control is something to play with. It’s like a variable sweep between the normal and bright channels on a 4 holer. You can find some great tones across the span of that control.

I have a Vox AC15C1X (with the Alnico speaker) and think it's great. With the chrome stand. Also, a Mini Superbeetle that is just fab. And looks cool in the livingroom!

I’ve got a modded Boss SD-1 (I stacked op amps in it) that really gives the amp a great shove. That’s the one that sticks out in my mind.

So my Origin 50 head arrives tomorrow. I have a cab with an 15" Eminence Legend in it. Also a cab with an 12" Eminence Red, White, and Blues. I like both for Fenders. But what speakers are good for that Marshally sound? I see Celestion, Eminence, and WGS make Brit voiced speakers. Who likes what?

The Eminence Redcoat series are excellent. The Private Jack is like a Greenback. The Wizard is like a V30. Have a look at the Redcoat series on their website.
Also the GB128. It’s from their Legend line and has been around for years. It like a smoother sounding Greenback. I have a quad if those in my 4x12. I love ‘em!

I really really want an AC30. Insane, I know. Not insane, they sound amazing, my good friend loves his. His only complaint is that it takes a team of professional movers to haul the thing.  |
