Thanks. That's a MJT custom job I ordered, Musikraft light roasted maple neck. It was inspired by this beauty

I haven't seen Dave since the old place. It was a pleasure to play with him during the couple of jams we attended together. The dude is smooth.

I met him and we went to dinner, maybe 12 years ago.
What a great guy.
Dave... come home!

A good greenburst is a thing of beauty. Both those examples are good.

Thanks guys, it really is a special guitar. Very lightweight alder body, a lightly roasted Musikraft neck with a 10" radius, 6105 frets, light vee (not as crazy as Warmoth boatneck). I finished the neck with a Stewmac rattle can clear and it turned out well (kinda matching the "closet clean" MJT body finish). I installed brass inserts and have the neck joined to the body with machine screws. As Tuco Salamanca would say, "tight, Tight, TIGHT!". I fitted it with Bill Lawrence/Wilde Noisefree pickups that are every bit as advertised; dead quiet and 100% Straty. Callaham block and Highwood saddles.
Before I ever started playing I was a 10 year old lusting after some Silvertone in a catalog. Opaque green to black burst. Never got that one, so I built this one to satisfy that boy that still resides in me.

Dave is an awesome player, and an even nicer guy......I hope he's doing alright.
Hearing him play at the Cleveland jam was a treat.....got a couple of his discs too. Good stuff.
In the meantime, I'm up to 3 Strats these days. Definitely my favorite guitars of all time.
