I try to keep my eyes on the road... And my hands upon the wheel ...
Cause the future's uncertain...
And the end is always near ...
YMMV ...

Since killing the snake was a violation of the Queensland Nature Conservation Act of 1992, police were required to look into "Jimmy's" past history. They found that in 2010 he had been carjacked by a Western Grey kangaroo in Rockhampton, and forced to drive to Gympie. After forcing Jimmy to withdraw 20 dollars from an ATM, the Grey kicked him to the curb and was last seen bounding into the scrub. "He weren't gentle-like, said Jimmy, "but at least he learnt me not to go picking up hitchers on the side of the road."

Reminds me of my daughter's old '76 Mercedes which we had parked in the tall grass behind the house while she was away at college. It sat for a couple months and when I went to retrieve it, I found molted snake skins wrapped around the shifter and seat base.
My daughter was reluctant to drive the car again, and for good reason...
