I’ve been playing acoustic a lot and love the way an open C chord in first inversion resolves a G7 -> G7/F approach.
Keep the high e G (third fret) sustained and on a loud acoustic, such a classic musical phrase.

I was thinking about this some more today. And I realized I play a bunch of chords that I have no idea what they are. They sound good. But I couldn't name them if I tried. Some are the result of experimentation, while others I've picked up off a video of some artist somewhere (Doc Watson, SRV, etc.). Take that site with a grain of salt, just poking around for fun I found a few errors. It seems there are keys and chords that confuse it.
That said, it's a good jumping off point for sure! I wish I had tools like this back in the day when I was learning. Thanks for the link!
