I had one of those surreal moments pushing a shopping cart through H-E-B when a song I haven't heard in a long time comes on the store radio. I always dug the tune back in the day. So it gets to the line "All you zombies hide your faces, all you people in the street". I look up and see everyone masked up. It was the perfect soundtrack for the moment.

Oh man! What a great blast from the past! I don’t think I’ve heard this in this century.

I don’t think it made it on to the H-E-B PA by accident.

Yeah, I wondered that myself. Although these playlists are usually some outside service I would guess.

I would've guessed 1990. 1983, sheesh.

I first heard it when I was in the UK. ‘83 sounds right.

Aside from the cheesy synth in the middle it has aged well.

Even though they're from here I never liked them even a little. But they were very popular and got invited to play @ Live Aid, so there's that.

Founding member Rob Hyman co-wrote and sang backup on Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time". He apparently liked the lower octave harmony thing (I think its cool and effective on this track).

This tune deserves the video. I love 80s vids.

Somewhere DJ mixmaster H-E-B has no clue that he’s famous on a guitar forum.

I've been living under a rock. I've never heard this song. I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized I was stationed in Germany at the time. One Hundred Red Balloons.
