A fine opportunity to drink beer, smoke cigarettes, play records, and tell lies with friends.
What do you do when you are a temporary bachelor?

When I'm a bachelor I drink beer, smoke cigarettes, play records, and tell lies with friends.
And play the guitar loud.

Typically, watch TV, order delivery, and do nothing. It’s the only time I ever have to do that.

"You crack me right the hell up, Roly."
Hope that wasn't painful...:>)
So...if you are honest about tobacco, like me, you partake occasionally when beer is involved. Yes?

That would be correct! I need to drink more and smoke less. But nothing's more fun than trying a Keith Richards impersonation.

" But nothing's more fun than trying a Keith Richards impersonation."
I have a swell book of drawings by a German artist named Sebastian Kruger.....It's very well done caricatures of the Stones, mostly Keith drawings. While touring Germany in the late 90's, a record company rep bought it for me after I expressed interest in it.....one of the percs I guess. If you are not familiar with it and are a Keith fan, I can scan and post a few drawings, most of which show Keith with a smoke and booze. cheers

What do you do when you are a temporary bachelor? Feel kind of lost...my wife and I do a lot together if I’m not gigging.

I normally play guitar through a Vox Tonelab. When I have the house to myself, I let the tubes out to run wild. That's a lot of fun.
I also enjoy beer, bourbon, pizza and lots of movies. It's also a good time to get Thai or Indian food since the Mrs is not a fan.
When there isn't a pandemic, I invite friends over for a beer share.

I like that they hired him to play a pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and he's the only guy that basically looks like he does every day when dressed as a pirate.

Maybe time to try your hand at the 'bachelor Taco'. I do this when I do tacos. Most delicious: Ingredients: 1lb 7% ground beef or chicken or? (If you use chicken or, the ever popular 'or?', I have no experience with these items ) Taco mix of your choice. I like Taco Bell mix 1 4oz can of diced jalapenos 1 pint container of fresh Salsa from the veggie dept., not the liquid stuff Package of shredded sharp cheddar and your favorite Taco sauce A package of yellow corn tortillas like the Mission brand or substitute those with shells in the packages (not recommended or condoned in my house ) A bottle of your favorite veg oil or olive oil for frying and shaping the tortillas Instructions: Simple, follow the instructions on the taco mix except, pour the contents of the diced jalapenos into the ground beef when you add the taco mix, mix and simmer according to taco mix instructions In a frying pan, add enough oil so as to cover the bottom of the pan. Heat oil under medium heat setting Place tortilla in hot oil and fry on one side for a few minutes, flip and fry on the other side and using your hot dog tongs, bend the taco to shape while frying, flipping the bent taco for even frying on both sides until it starts to brown, making sure you keep your bent taco from creating the bubble effect. When done, place finished, bent taco on paper towel covered plate and repeat to desired taco number. Next, make a taco. After putting desired amount of ground beef on bottom of bent taco shell, add in this order, desired amount of salsa, cheese and taco sauce. Repeat until you have desired amount of tacos. Eat and enjoy.

Is that advisable, past a certain age? Nothing can switch emotion from exuberance>shock>shame in milliseconds like the unfortunate shart.

Is that advisable, past a certain age? Nothing can switch emotion from exuberance>shock>shame in milliseconds like the unfortunate shart. It happened to me, many years ago, while driving home from an Iron Maiden concert in Lubbock. I lived in NM, but I left my whitie tighties along side a road in TX.
