We just had one of these places open up near me and wow is it good stuff. Really fresh ingredients anda nice portion size. Apparently this got started somewhere on the Jersey shore and they are all over NJ (won't hold that against them ) with a couple locations now in NY, CA, and Philly. I had the A-1 Steak burrito the first time and the next time I tried the steak and shrimp and both were really good. And they have tater tots, too so that automatically score major points with me. www.bubbakoos.com/

Evidently we have one on Staten Island, but I never heard It. Which is unusual because I’m obsessed with Mexican food.
Gonna see if they deliver to my office through any of the various delivery services.
EDIT: Indeed they do. I will check this out and circle back.

Looks like a Chipotle with higher end options. Probably good but pricey. My local real-Mexican taco shop has gotten "Americanized", which means that the prices have gone way up while the quality has gone way down, yet they are always so crowded that I can't really blame them.

I happen to really like Chipotle, as far as fast-casual burritos go, that's my go-to. Were I able to have one of these Bubbakoos delivered, that is what I was going to compare it to.

I really like Chipotle's barbacoa burrito.
We have a very large population of Mexican and other South American's. This area is like Minneapolis and the Somalis. I won't say anymore. The upside is many great authentic Mex joints.
Still, the best Taco I ever had was from a food truck in Bossier City La.

^^Me too. I can get two meals out of one of their bowls. Absolutely. Although I am usually more of a savage, I eat all of the meat and there's nothing but a bunch of rice and salsa left in the bowl, and then I get rid of it. My wife literally eats half, when she is done one side of the bowl is completely empty while the other looks untouched.

I really like Chipotle's barbacoa burrito. That's the only thing I get there, be it in a bowl (more typically) or a burrito. I first discovered them while working in downtown Brooklyn during law school. There was one right across from the Bowling Green subway station in Manhattan, and that was dinner at least once a week. It does take a bit of talent to eat a burrito on the Staten Island Ferry without making too much of a mess. But I made do.

I make my own Barbacoa with the lime rice, black beans, guacamole just like chipotle. Takes a few hours to make the meat but I get about 4 lbs which lasts a while. The secret is the chipotle in adobo sauce with the toasted cumin and cloves (as does chipotle) that the meat Bastes in
