you'd think this would be sop but it took me TWO incidents to drive the point home.
first was quite awhile ago when I had about $20 worth of quarters in a compartment in the dash to be used for supplemental bridge toll.
was a few days after getting the car serviced that I noticed I'd been cleaned out.
second was semi recently. since I've had a smartphone I had no need for my Garmin gps so offered to give it to a friend.
I reached into the glove compartment and only the power cord remianed.
I think it finally sunk in....
