If you get an extra "point for every switch and pot on body," what is the total number of points for a 1962 Jaguar? It starts out with 5 points.

Shoot! I knew I shoulda held on t'my St. George MP-3! Just lookit that Gumby-licious headstock! I actually saws Billy C. Farlow strap one of these on one night while singing with Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen back during the late 1960s. It wasn't plugged in, probably by unanimous vote of the other band members. They probably figured that John Tichy's SG and Bill Kirchen's Tele was enough guitars uh-ready. Freshman year of college, my dorm roomate played bass (a no-name, Hofner "Beatle" bass knock-off) in a band. The rhythm guitar player played a St. George he's gotten at a pawn shop and played through the other channel of the accordian player's low-rent combo amp (they couldn't afford a Farfisa organ). The lead guitar player used some sort of Vox SG copy but at least had an AC-30 or some other, decent Vox amp. They sounded...uh...not-so-good.

Hilarious!
Three suggestions
a. Danelectro and Harmony are conspicuous by their absence.
b. Decals/stickers on the guitar (1 point each)
3. Duct tape straplocks (5 points)
5. Any guitar with 'missing' equipment, such as a hole where a pickup or a tone control used to be (20 points per hole).

Ibanez, especially the Talman, seems to be gaining some traction in the indie/math rock areas of music.
