When I'm working, I've always got a cold drink at hand. Usually in a McDonalds large beverage plastic cup, filled with ice.
Got a 'fridge in the office that churns out endless ice on demand so that's the easy part.
Beverage of choice when we're in the UK is Pepsi Maxx (artificially sweetened so lo-cal and no carbs). In the US, I switch over to diet citrus soda, something called Sun Drop, which is more tart than Mountain Dew and has no caffeine, no sugar, no carbs.
But ..... my bride is not happy about all the artificial sweetener in that stuff, so lately I've been moving to unsweetened ice tea. Purchased a two liter glass pitcher on amazon for ~~~~ $20 that can handle both hot hot hot and cold cold cold.
So I can boil up a pot of hot water and toss it into the pitcher with two tea bags. Swish it around for a few minutes and put it in the 'fridge.
Leave it for a few hours to cool, and I've got a pitcher of unsweetened iced tea to pour over ice.
After some experimentation, best tea bags for my taste are Trader Joe's Irish breakfast black tea.
Way lower cost than the pop, whether Pepsi Maxx or Sun Drop. And probably healthier, notwithstanding the caffeine in the tea.

I drink unsweetened iced tea all the time - my beverage of choice. I usually add a bit of lemon, though.
I also like iced green tea, which has even less caffeine. I also sometimes mix them.
Either way, definitely ‘way healthier than any variety of pop (soda).

Iced tea is also my go to drink. I'm fine with Red Rose -- I pour two quarts of boiling water over six tea bags and let them steep for 5-6 minutes. I remove the bags and add another two quarts of cold water or ice. That keeps me for 2-3 days. I used to get the hairy eyeball at family gatherings on my Mom's side (South Carolina) because I didn't care for sugar in my tea. They got over it.

Unsweetened ice tea is my drink of choice as well. Either that or just water. My wife likes the unsweetened and flavored seltzer waters. They are good but I like them more as mixers in my favorite alcoholic beverage. Very good in rum or vodka. I was drinking the seltzers as well for a while but decided that I really didn't like them as much as, or more than, iced tea or plain water, enough to justify the cost. I still get them for the misses. She's diabetic and doesn't like plain water. She likes iced tea okay but prefers things with carbonation. She likes the bubbles. I just don't drink them anymore.

Lipton works for me and unsweet is my preference. I brew it strong and dilute it down in the glass...ahhh.

Unsweetened ice tea is my #1, preferably brewed by the sun. I don’t drink soda.

Unsweetened ice tea is my #1, preferably brewed by the sun. I don’t drink soda. Dropping the soda seems to be the smartest way to go. Feels like I'm heading in that direction. Figuring out an efficient system for brewing ice tea and finding a tea that I like was a positive step forward for me. I really prefer unsweetened. I know sugar and chemical sweeteners are not good for me on a lot of levels.

I have a preference for beer but have enjoyed fine green and black teas for a long time, and commonly drink pure leaf unsweetened iced tea and add lemon juice, as well as many other hot green/black teas in the winter. The only hot beverage I usually drink in the summer is coffee. I gave up soda and sweet tea while waiting tables back in my late teens. Honestly the amount of sugar I would throw in the vat for sweet tea and the sticky residue that got all over changing out soda syrup grossed me out and I never looked back.

I drank a big glass (I have two big tall plastic glasses dedicated) of Instant Nestea most every day for 40 years. And then they stopped making it, much to my dismay.
I've been trying to like Lipton, but it's gacky. I usually pour half the glass down the drain.
I don't drink sugary things, like pop, and can't do aspartame (that stuff is poison). So I usually have a big glass of water.
I really miss Nestea.

I developed a midday green tea habit, so when it's hot I'll just make a strong cup, then pour that over ice in a thermos, throw in a dash of honey and that provides sippin' into the afternoon. There is a new to me flavored seltzer "Spindrift". It's just carbonated water and some pureed fruit. drinkspindrift.com/
