Potato Soup
5-6 med Russet potatoes, peeled and cubed. Vadalia Onion, 1/2, chopped. Pink Salt, Coarse Ground Black Pepper, Garlic to taste.
Boil the ingredients until potatoes soft and water reduced, to barely floating the potatoes then remove from heat.
Add 2 tablespoons butter and stir in whole milk.
Simmer for about an hour until slightly thickened.
Serve in a bowl or mug topped with freshly chopped chives or use a chopped green onion stem as substitute.
No real measurements here. Do what tastes right and additions can be endless.

That sounds really good. My brother and I used to put broccoli in potato soup, that was good too.
