As a followup to the chair saga, I used an old metal bar stool at church today but it was very slippery. I was hard to cradle my guitar and it was killing my back. At one point, I tried to shift my weight and my guitar slipped from my lap. I grabbed it by the neck and it made a gawdawful racket. Since my delay was on, it reverberated for several second. There's nothing to do at that point but laugh it off. Between services, our worship leader, who is the pastor's wife and keyboard player, loaned me her QuickSet stool. It's one of the expensive sturdy ones that was easy to set up for me and very comfortable. Second service went much better. I told her I was planning to buy one but she said the church will buy it for me. Score!

I’ve been feeling the itch as well.
guitar prices have gone up, temporarily in my opinion, as time to buy.
i did send an order to Sweetwater for my first guitar wireless unit, along with some picks and two stands.

I tested it out. Works great, even on the five string bass. This source in eBay has 5 left. I think I'll purchase another.

I’m glad this worked out like it did, Rocky. 😎

So it sounds like you're back to your original conundrum of wanting new gear but not knowing what to get.
You might as well get one of those Positive Grid Sparks.

I’m glad this worked out like it did, Rocky. 😎 It's definitely a blessing. So it sounds like you're back to your original conundrum of wanting new gear but not knowing what to get. You might as well get one of those Positive Grid Sparks. Interesting amp, but I still find myself searching for a SHB.

The line 6 wireless unit arrived and it is terrific. I am officially the laziest man in the world. I cannot even be bothered to plug in my guitars.

I ordered and received the Intellitouch PT40C clip on tuner mentioned by Peegoo and Larry. Cool biz, love the green/red illumination and USB charging.

Did you notice that it also has a clock? Yep. This seems to be a vastly superior unit than the Snark. Curious why it's discontinued.

I ordered two of those tuners from ebay.
I’m tired of buying/changing 2032 batteries. I doubt I can get the ladies to use one of these on their violins, though. They won’t think ahead to recharge it. It’s how they roll.

Curious why it's discontinued. I think maybe Geno had it correct earlier. I wonder if the battery companies got together and made Peterson an offer they couldn't refuse

The Goo comes throo again.
Easily my favorite clip-on tuner. 😎🏆😎

Been watching the Positive Grid Spark thread. A friend has one, it sounds good, it's a reasonable price and I'm itching to buy something. But then, I already have another small amp I don't use because I have a Princeton Reverb that I want to use all the time. (sticks hands in pockets again..starts whistling...)

Just don't hang out at ebay or Reverb late at night after a couple of beers. That's how I just got my new amp!

For me, pedal purchases always scratch the itch
Most of my recent pedal purchases weren’t anything I really needed for playing gigs, more a curiosity and part of the never ending tone search.
