So sticking to my intention of keeping my Win 7 DAW offline, I'm now faced with figuring out how to import something, specifically MIDI drum files from Groove Monkee and then transferring them into my EZDrummer library. Previous imports seemed to execute automatically. Shouldn't I be able to do this on any PC, place the files/installer on a thumb-drive and move it to the appropriate laptop? I should know this.

Well that was easy. Ordered and downloaded the midi pack through my online laptop, unzipped to thumbdrive and installed on DAW laptop.

See there? That's how you get it done. I'm going to be in the same boat one of these days when they stop supporting Windows 8.1. Pro Tools 11, which I use, will not run on Windows 10 so I'm stuck with 8.1 until it stops working.

I've read some accounts of people successfully running my version of Pro Tools (10) in Windows 10. But I ain't trying, nuh uh.
