I wonder, are some of these glass ware dishes designed by the same people who work for Hornady Defensive Ammo? I dropped one earlier, about the size to barely fit half a grapefruit. After an hour of sweeping and vacuuming a 400 sq ft area including the dishwasher I was still finding shards. I'm betting I'll find more in a year or two.
Thats it. Plastic sippy cups for me from here on out. 😡

I find vacuuming with the brush attachment while wearing work boots helps.

I do this about once a year and even with hardwood floors, I’m never sure the next step I take barefoot won’t be “the one”

One of the fastest motions we can see (we really cannot see it) is fracture speed in glass. Ever heard of a Prince Rupert's drop? There is some amazing physics going on in them, because not only is the glass fracturing, it is fracturing under preloaded stresses that are measured in hundreds of pounds. The fracture speed is 3,700 MPH.
