I can't imagine what it must be like these days for young people, tethered to their hard charging hormones, like a dog walker holding back a rhino.
There was a risk back in the day of catching something ... but only if you DID something. Today, all you have to do is show up.
Of course, back when I was one of those in the "close the bar" crowd, we didn't have texts, Zoom, Twitter, instagram, Facebook, Skype, etc. We didn't even have cellphones. (the elite had pagers).
But sadly, all the digital gumbo of the 21st century, is no replacement for actual human contact.
At my age, I can sit back and watch the hormonal stampede, and be grateful that my run at the cliff edge is a distant memory.
How do you see it?

I would imagine the young are better equipped at getting a grip on the situation.

Well back in the day I did not have much common sense and I did pay the price a couple if times. Really I suspect it us kind of the same now. Back then you could die of aids, now covid..more aids I guess. I ne er really liked the game, the search, whatever u want to call it. I was real glad to marry a hot chick and go home every nite. Jeez, I still am. We have not really been anywhere in about 3 months. If i was 20 and thinking with my Johnson...well could make for a sad ending.
