As cool as that Vincent is, it dosen't live in the same zip code as a hemi Crocker. Don't they both top out around 110?

Performance wise I think the Vincent would win, but the Crocker is sexy.

We'll be in Maggie Valley in a couple of weeks for a ride. It's too bad the museum is closed. It's a cool place.

I was at the Davenport, IA Chief Blackhawk AMCA meet when Mike Lange took a Crocker around the track for, as the announcer said, “the first time in decades the sound of a Crocker is being heard on a race track”. Mike had just completed the restoration of the motorcycle he had on the track and had permission of its owner to run it in a competition stage on the track. It was really cool. A couple of years later there was a Crocker in the swap space across from ours where we’d hear the owner fire it up occasionally...pretty awesome!
A friend owns a Brough Superior that my former bike shop partner did the engine restoration on a few years ago. A really impressive machine!

I'd love to get a bike again, but with all the inattentive drivers on the road these days I'm not so sure. My last bike was a ZX9R Ninja, a great bike in it's day.

I sold my last bike a month ago. This one was my baby. It sat in the garage for over a year, I then wiped the dust off of it and rode about 3 miles to the local Kroger and back. I parked it in the yard with a for sale sign on it. One lucky dude stopped and gave me a cash offer when I was loading my car for a family trip. He has stopped over twice thanking me for my generosity, I told him he caught me on the right day. On that 3 mile ride to Kroger I thought I was going to be ran into 10 plus times. People not paying attention. I knew it was time to hang up the saddle. I get almost ran over in parking lots in my Mustang daily. Several times a day I have to go to the furthest most right side of my lane to keep from being hit. I don't regret giving my baby away.
Edit
It is saving me 50 bucks a month in insurance, so the deal I gave him evens out quickly. Especially since the bike sat in a garage.

I'm getting ready to take off for the day on my 1800 CC V-twin. Notice all of the twisties. It's time for some two-wheel therapy. 😎
