I lived outside of St. Louis in the 60's and got to see guys like Musial, Aaron, Mays and of course Lou Brock...it's a part of my life that I still cherish....Lou was a fantastic ballplayer..not only was he fast, he was one of only 4 players that homered over the center field fence in the Polo Grounds....480 feet from home plate...
it's a shame baseball isn't like what used to be..
thanks for the great memories Lou...you were certainly a Hall of Famer
