I got one of these about a week ago. I wanted the ability to be able to use my amps in their 'sweet spot' at low volume levels and this is part of what this unit does. It is a reactive load box, does virtual cabinet sims through software, an attenuator and a IR loader. So far, I'm a bit underwhelmed with it. My main concern is not having found a way to use it in conjunction with my two blues jrs and also getting the speakers to work when I use it. it does work pretty good using headphones and using the software for the sims but, even that seems like this thing is more of a toy. But, my opinion probably draws more on ignorance about this thing right now. That and the fact that I need some splitters to plug both amp and speaker to this thing and not just for the blues jrs. Part of the problem is the vague instructions on how to hook this thing up and my ignorance of not connecting with what the end result should be. I'm pretty sure I'm going about it the wrong way as I'm trying to hook this thing up between the amp section and the speaker section of the blues jr instead of using a seperate speaker cab of which I do have but, have been putting it off to figure a way to use in the former choice. Anybody deal with these load boxes that can help me clear the fog in my brain?
