My hands are now cracked and peeling like they do when the weather is cold. I realized it was from the dishwasher detergent on the hands. So we have bought real hand soap for the liquid dispensers. Dial brand, for one, makes antibacterial hand soap

Several months ago I picked up a bottle of Corn Huskers after noticing it on the store shelves. I had forgotten all about it. Now it’s “on hand” in my Ford pickup. Each time I apply it that familiar fragrance instantly reminds me of both grandmothers. BONUS 😊

I learned a little about the financial markets. I viewed March as probably the best investment opportunity of our generation but realized I didn't really know how to take advantage at the time as I'm a conservative "retirement oriented" investor so made a weak effort to figure out how it all works.

Oh, and I still use old fashioned bar soap to wash my hands. Get some O'Keeffe's cream to heal your Dawn injured hands, it's good stuff. After I quit the dishwasher liquid, my hands did get better on their own, but then the weather got really cold (by our deep South standards) and my hands started cracking again. I tried some O'Keeffe's cream. Found it at Walgreen's. It works well, and my hands don't hurt now. My wife thinks O'Keeffe's is greasy, but once you get past that, it works well. We had shopped online for the Crabtree & Evelyn's Gardeners Hand Cream we had used for years, but prices are exorbitant. To my wife's slight chagrin, I refused to pay over $60 for a 3.5 oz. tube of hand cream. So, Bronx, thanks for the suggestion. But we will look around to Corn Huskers hand cream and see if it's available in stores around here. But I'm liking the O'Keeffe's. (And that's how it's spelled!)

What I've learned since March
Moving to Florida to retire and then to Texas to be near grandchildren in bassackwards
Toilet paper shortages suck
Bidets rock
Losing weight is hard
Gaining weight is easy

One of my final acts of 2020 is to sincerely thank Bronx for suggesting the O'Keeffe's Hand Cream. My hands have not cracked and/or bled since I started using the stuff. My son and his wife even gave us a round can of it after we had bought the tube of cream. I used to swear by the Crabtree & Evelyn stuff, but now I'm sold on O'Keeffe's!
Thanks again, Bronx!
