Sort of a survey...
Go to Google Maps, and in the location box, type the following:
Right Here
and see what results you get.

I get a blue location dot that moves slightly, right next to my blue home icon.

I get a bunch of roads outlined in red around the town I live in. They don't appear to have any kind of logical pattern. They don't mark the city limits or county boundaries.

Oh yeah, I get a red perimeter around my lake community.
My guess is its the outline for a MOAB strike to ensure high probability of a successful mission. 🤣

Yeah, same here...and I have all privacy measures (location, etc.) enabled on my browser, so Opera is not as 'private' as they claim it to be.
I guess the good news about this is when I have Alzheimer's: if I'm out driving around and get lost, I can pop into Google Maps and type
Where Am I
and it will show my location to within less than a kilometer.
Just gotta remember the 'where am I' part...

Mine zooms out and shows the city limits outlined in red. There is some very narrow gerrymandering down roads leading out of town, I suppose, to get sales tax from businesses out in the sprawl.

How rude! Mine says: We can't find 'right here'. Then there is a space underneath as if to add a derogatory description of whom ever is asking such as 'fool' or 'numbskull'. Then they explain, 'Check the spelling or edit your search [dummy] to add details like 'city' or 'state' [moron]. ...

If you use a VPN, it can't find you. I highly recommend. PIA VPN.

When I searched on "right here", it zoomed in on my house, and when I searched on "over there" it zoomed in on my neighbor's house.
Actually, it just zoomed in on the nearest town, which it probably deduced from my IP address.
