My dad grew up on a farm, so he was programmed to love the stuff. My mom and us kids, however, not so much. Looking back on all that, I guess my favorite way of having it would be simmered in onions in a skillet over medium heat with a little worcestershire sauce and fresh cracked black pepper. When the juice from the liver is clear, gently toss it all into the trash and make up a bowl of Quisp in milk and have that for dinner. I am fully in support and will try this recipe. I may substitute Fruity Pebbles for Quisp.

Beef liver - No way.
Chicken livers - Yes, deep fried. I take a pass for health reasons these days.

I like it! Mom used to make it.
She also made chicken livers, with bacon. Me like!

Vile, revolting concoction! My mom used to make it for dad once a year. It stunk up the house for days! I stood my ground and never let it pass my lips!

I could eat it once a month, easily. Yum, and VERY good for you.

My favorite appetizers are chicken livers and water chestnuts wrapped in bacon.
