I heard on the news that some people had called in saying that they had already received a $600 check this morning. Apparently they started sending them last night. Nothing here yet! Probably going alphabetically. Checks

None for me at all, but I’m not sure if we still get one for our dependent child. We did last time because my wife got a reduced amount. Not sure if we get anything now that they lowered the income threshold and neither of us will qualify.

Being retired, I qualify but nothing yet. Should get $1200 and if I recall, last time it came quickly.

Nothing yet here. I checked my bank account online to see if it was directly deposited like the other one was.

Heh! I still have the one they sent the first time. If they send me this 600 dollar one, I'll stick it in the same account that I have the first one I call...taxes 'cause, sooner or later, they will want it back. Also, they're busy boiling over sending out 2000 dollar checks probably not in addition to the 600 dollars but, the remaining amount which I'll put with the other 'free' [paper] money.

We didn't get one the first time and won't get one this time either. I guess it's good to see my taxes go somewhere...

I paid through the nose my taxes for over 50 years so I certainly don’t mind taking some back now that I no longer work.

The IRS supposedly started mailing the checks out this morning (12/30), so I'm doubting that anyone has received one yet.

If it’s like the last round, they also direct-deposit.

Heh! I still have the one they sent the first time. WARNING, WILL ROBINSON! Congressional appropriations like this benefit are limited in scope (total amount over specified time frame) which means these checks have a shelf life. If you wait too long to cash it, the check will be voided--and you'll be without recourse to have another check cut and sent to you because the money no longer exists in the appropriation. Don't allow a check like this to collect dust. Cheers y'all and be well Geno Certified Federal Financial Manager

See? They’re starting with numbers and working up to letters! Made me laugh! Being a "w" I guess I've got a long wait. But good to see at least one member that got theirs already.

There is a $600 deposit pending in my account, according to online banking. I've read that it will remain "pending" until official transfer of funds on January 4th. But, just because that's what I've read doesn't make it so lol

It would appear that my pay off will happen on Monday. It would seem reading these posts that most will receive this fund from the 'IOU a planets worth of dough' fund on Monday. I here the doors bang shut with the repeating echo of emptiness from the bowels of the vault.

It showed up in my bank account last night but won't be paid out until Monday, the 4th.
I don't feel guilty about getting some back either. I'm one of those "stupid people" that have payed my taxes for the last 50 years plus. I'm retired, I'm moving, I can use some extra cash.

I'm paranoid, I'd rather not have the IRS have direct access to my back account. We'll get one by snail mail which is fine. Will cover first half of property tax due at end of Jan.

Mine showed up this morning. Surprised me a little because of the holiday. Bank of America made the funds immediately available in my balance. Showed up as "Processing", not "Pending".
