Her relationship with Mafia kingpin Sam Giancana was legendary. Looks like he left her in solid financial shape.

When we got our first TV set in the mid-50s we always watched the Arthur Godfrey Show. And the McGuire Sisters were a major part of his show. I loved their 3-part harmonies.
I think their harmonies might have been in violation of the rules as set forth in the music theory and composition textbooks, with some parallel 5ths and 4ths in there. Hey, as long as someone is singing the third of the chord, it sounds all good to me.
When Crosby, Stills & Nash came along, maybe 14 years later, their harmony was voiced the same way, with everybody singing in parallel with the melody. They were like the McGuire Brothers. Still a fan.
The McGuire Sisters were rather attractive brunettes. When my then-fiance (now wife, 48 years later) had her engagement picture in the paper, I thought her picture made her look like a McGuire Sister. Never told her that.

Our local PBS Station runs a very old 50s concert as a fundraiser. The concert features the McGuire Sisters. Maybe some other acts have passed as well and PBS will now put the show to rest. RIP Miss McGuire.
